Research & Development Department of the Dnipro National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan provides: 

• Conducting of fundamental and research works on problems of natural, social,  technical  sciences and liberal arts;
• Conducting applied researches for domestic and foreign enterprises, institutions, organizations, individuals and research initiatives to solve the urgent problems of scientific and technological development;
• Identification of priority and perspective directions of scientific researches in University;
• Conducting internal and external expert evaluation of projects for the implementation of scientific researches.
