February 16 at the National University of Food Technologies State Energy Efficiency together with the Ministry of Education to hold a seminar on "Energy Service in the Budgetary Sphere of Ukraine: Successes-2016-2017, Prospects 2018. The Potential of Involving ESCOs to Improve Energy Efficiency in Higher Education Institutions."

Speakers:
• Roman Greba - Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine;
• Sergey Savchuk - Chairman of the State Energy Efficiency;
• Alexey Korchmit - advisor to the Chairman of the State Energy Efficiency.

Key issues:
• Energy service in the budgetary sphere: legal framework;
• Peculiarities of the implementation of ESCO projects: obstacles and opportunities for businesses and managers of budgetary funds;
• Practical examples of implemented projects from ESCO investors.

The beginning: 10:00.

Location: Kiev, st. Vladimirskaya 68, National University of Food Technologies, building A, second floor, assembly hall.

Seminar participants will learn how to conduct complex thermal upgrading of the university at the expense of the ESCO investor, reduce energy consumption and further save budget funds for utility bills.

Over the past two months, the demand for ESCOs has been growing rapidly. In 25 cities of Ukraine, more than 300 tenders for the purchase of energy services through the PROZORRO system have been announced. Half of them have already been completed. For universities, together with ESCOs, it is possible to increase the energy efficiency of their buildings, improve comfort and enhance image.

To participate in the seminar, management and representatives of higher education institutions, budgetary institutions, companies involved in energy services, energy efficiency, thermal insulation, energy auditors, energy managers, the media and everyone are invited to participate in the seminar.
